The Mentoring and Befriending Foundation is the National Strategic body for mentoring and offers support to organisations throughout the sector.

The Foundation aims to provide leadership, develop mentoring organisations and provide capacity building support through its national and regional body infrastructure.

As part of this they provide a quality benchmark the Approved Provider Standard (APS) which aims to improve quality and guarantee consistency of operation.

In February 2006 Mentor Link was awarded Approved Provider Standard and we hope that this will increase the confidence of the public and participants in the quality of the work provided by the charity.
