BRAVE SKYDIVERS TAKE TO THE SKIES FOR MENTOR LINK On Sunday 13th June fifteen brave skydivers took to the skies to do a tandem skydive for Mentor Link. Brave volunteers from Baxter College, Wolverley School and King Charles all took part in this fantastic event. The sun shone as the skydivers jumped from the planes, and they all landed with huge smiles on their faces! One skydiver, Laura Cooke said “It was incredible, what an amazing experience! If I had the opportunity to do it again it would be a BIG YES every time. It has been a fun journey to raise money for such an astounding charity. The build up, the support, the people and the day has been positively astonishing. It really was phenomenal” We raised over £3500 from the event and everyone who took part said it was a fantastic experience!
The fundraising team have been busy organising the upcoming events for the next year. We try to cater for everyone when deciding which events to put on and fully understand that you can’t attend everything. However your support and that of your friends and family is always appreciated. We are still looking for more members to join our 100 CLUB! When you join for just £1 a week, you will have the chance to win £50, every four weeks!! The 100 club is open to partners, friends and family too!
