Mentor Link provide one to one support to distressed children and young people facing difficulties and create a more positive attitude towards themselves and learning. The well-being of young people forms the focus of our work.

The National Education Union writes,

“Government has got to recognise that the wellbeing of young people is just as vital as their learning, and that well-being impacts significantly on learning” – Dr Mary Bousted, joint general secretary, NEU

We are seeing an increased demand for our service to support children and young people struggling with anxiety, mental health issues, low-self-esteem and confidence, school attendance, attachment issues etc., and urgently need Mentors for the Evesham, Hereford, and Solihull areas.

Quote from referring member of staff.

A child who is anxious, afraid, angry, or hurt cannot begin to make schoolwork a priority or have the headspace to learn. Children who feel safe, valued, and happy will learn – they can’t help it!

If you can help support a young person facing social and emotional difficulties, and would like more information about becoming a Mentor please do get in touch with us enquiries@mentorlink.org.uk tel. 01299 822336 www.mentorlink.org.uk

We are always look for support, so if you know anyone who would like to support Mentor Link, or you may work for a company that raises funds for local charities, please nominate us.
