GREAT NORTH RUN

One of our former mentors, Rob Blunt (right of the picture), took part in the Great North Run on 9th September. We are HUGELY proud of Rob who struggled with injury after 8 miles, but carried on with the help of biscuits and jelly babies! If you would like to support Rob with any late donations, please click here.

Rob says:

Great sing-along warm-up at the start, 30min back from Mo before crossing start line. Sun shinning throughout & very warm, enabling me to improve my farmers tan. Calf strapped meant limp from 4 miles onwards. Stop & start for remainder of the race, taking on refreshments from great crowd including Energy Gel, Oranges, Biscuits and Jelly Babies! Great sights & emotional atmosphere throughout the day. Thanks everyone.
