CEO meets Sajid Javid MP

Recently our CEO Andrea Maddocks MBE had the pleasure of meeting Sajid Javid, MP for Bromsgrove and current Home Secretary, to discuss Mentor Link’s invaluable mentoring service to young people in schools.

Sajid writes in his newsletter, ‘I was inspired by my recent visit to local charity, Mentor Link. CEO Andrea Maddocks MBE, and her 16 person team, work hard to offer crucial support to vulnerable young people through mentoring. The charity does so much to help young people to remain engaged with their family and community, attain positive lifestyle changes and achieve a successful transition to adulthood. Last year, Andrea and her team mentored 359 young people, they really do transform lives. Keep up the great work.’
