Well done Phil

One of our lovely volunteer Mentors Phil Bach who works at Currys in Merry Hill was awarded the HP Crush award yesterday in store. The award means that as Phil is a volunteer for Mentor Link the charity will benefit from free workshop training for young people on “Staying safe on the internet” for 3 schools who partner with the charity. The workshops are being designed and delivered by a specialist company based in London.

Well done Phil who has been supporting a young boy who has been unable to attend school due to trauma. When Phil met this young boy mum wrote, “Phil has just left and I wanted to email you straight away to say what a lovely man and my son said, “I love him” ………. he has never said that about anyone and think he will be able to make a real difference.”
