Children’s Mental Health Week 2019 – Day Five

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week 2019, so each day we are sharing with you our knowledge on topics relating to the wellbeing of children.

Online Abuse

Facebook has announced that it has removed 8.7 million pieces of content that violated their child nudity or sexual exploitation of children policies in the past quarter.

Instagram have also now vowed to remove all graphic images of self-harm, after the sad death of a young girl who had been viewing such images.
