A Volunteer Mentor will spend time with a young person offering them one to one listening support.
We endeavour to place the volunteers in a school that is geographically nearest to them.
No specific experience or qualifications required, but a range of skills are desirable including the ability to relate well to children, listening skills, communication skills and a non-judgemental nature.
We also recruit Reading Mentors and those specifically for Looked After Children.
If you would like to get in touch with us on 01299 822336 or email Enquiries@mentorlink.org.uk and we can put you in touch with one of our Volunteer Recruiters.
