To coincide with Volunteer’s Week, we’d like to share a quote with you from one of our Volunteer Mentors;

I believe the mentoring has helped make changes. Open discussions seem to have helped trust and confidence. Ben seems very keen on attending sessions and does request that meetings continue even during half term breaks. I believe that Ben is more settled, confident and less angry. This has enabled him to make more friends and control his emotions.

As a children’s charity, Mentor Link are passionate about the health and well-being of children and young people. Our 1-1 mentoring service provides a listening ear non-judgemental approach to a child and young person facing social and emotional difficulties impacting on their education and themselves. We are seeing an increased demand for our service to support children and young people struggling with anxiety, mental health issues, low confidence and self-esteem, attachment issues etc, and urgently need more Mentors from the Solihull and Evesham and Pershore area.

If you would like to volunteer with Mentor Link, and help support a young person facing social and emotional difficulties, and would like more information about becoming a Mentor please contact enquiries@mentorlink.org.uk

We are always looking for support, so if you know anyone that would like to support Mentor Link, or you may work for a company that raises funds for local charities, please nominate us.
