National Mentoring Day – Sunday 27th October

Mentor Link provides long term one to one social and emotional support to vulnerable and distressed children. No qualifications are necessary, you just need to be a good listener, and role model with an interest in supporting young people. The role would be a minimum commitment of 1 hour a week with referred children generally during school hours, for at least a 6 month period.

This role is subject to safer recruitment checks, including 2 satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS certificate. Induction training, and ongoing training is provided free of charge and travelling expenses paid.
