National Mentoring Day – Sunday 27th October

Mentor Link provides long term one to one social and emotional support to vulnerable and distressed children. No qualifications are necessary, you just need to be a good listener, and role model with an interest in supporting young people. The role would be a minimum commitment of 1 hour a week with referred children generally during school hours, for at least a 6 month period.

This role is subject to safer recruitment checks, including 2 satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS certificate. Induction training, and ongoing training is provided free of charge and travelling expenses paid.

Music For Adults are holding an all-day music 'Playathon' with donations kindly going towards Mentor Link. Live music from a variety of groups and soloists, a young person's platform, refreshments, raffle, craft stalls and more, on Saturday 16th November in Little Witley Village Hall!
