Volunteering

At Mentor Link, we provide one to one listening support to distressed children and we work with many schools, parents, CAMHS and other professionals across the West Midlands.

Mentor Link have been providing mentoring support to Dan from Warwickshire, after being referred to our service for anxiety. Dan’s interests are computers, in particular coding. We matched Dan with a male Mentor; Kirk who has an interest in computer science. Dan engaged well during their first mentoring session because of their shared interest. They are working together and using computer coding to manoeuvre a robot. Dan has said he enjoys meeting his Mentor. Kirk is supporting Dan to overcome his anxieties, build his self -esteem and confidence and feel better about himself and learning.

If you can help support a young person facing social and emotional difficulties, and would like more information about becoming a Mentor please contact enquiries@mentorlink.org.uk
Tel. 01299 822336.

We also welcome enquiries from schools, parents and are always looking for support, so if you know anyone that would like to support Mentor Link, or you may work for a company that raises funds for local charities, please nominate us.
