Mentor Link

In 2002 I set up a children’s charity Mentor Link as a small local charity in the Wyre Forest. Fourteen years on the charity now supports around 400 children and young people in the West Midlands area each year and has 150 volunteer mentors who provide dedicated support.
In 2011 I was awarded an MBE for services to children and young people and the Voluntary Sector and remain both proud of the charity that I set up and committed to supporting distressed children and young people.
